Dubrovnik Boat Rent respects the Client’s privacy while the Agency’s responsibility is to guarantee the privacy and ensure that all personal information that the Client provides is dealt with in a confident matter. Dubrovnik Boat Rent complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which implies that;

• The Agency only processes personal data that is compatible with the purpose for which the data is collected; the purpose and type of data are described in this Privacy Policy.
• The Agency will explicitly ask the Client’s permission, when necessary, to process personal data.
• The Agency takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the safety of the Client’s personal data by meeting the requirements of the Regulation.
• The Agency will not disclose any personal data to other parties unless this is necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected or the lawful authorities with the valid warrant require.
• The Agency and its employees are aware of the Client’s rights with respect to their personal data, thus will inform them about and will respect them.

DATA PROCESSING

Dubrovnik Boat Rent collects data directly when filling out a form, purchasing the service, or communicating via email or social media, or using the official Website. The Agency may collect personal data from third parties such as payment processors, advertising networks, and/or analytics providers. The client’s data is stored in a secure platform.

Usage Data

The Agency may process data about the Client’s use of the Website and services. This may include IP address, browser type, operating system, geographical location, page views, website navigation paths, and frequency and/or pattern of use of the Website. This data is collected through Agency’s analytics tracking systems, including Google Analytics and similar. This data is used to analyze the use of the Website, to deliver relevant content and advertising, and understand users. Customer Data

The Agency may process user data, such as name, e-mail address, address, telephone number, credit card details, company name (if applicable), Chamber of Commerce number (if applicable), VAT number (if applicable), and other relevant data as related to purchases of our services. The Agency process this data to supply content, products, and/or services to the Client, and/or to fulfill a service Agreement.

Third parties

The client’s data will never be shared with unrelated third parties.

DATA SECURITY AND BREACH RESPONSE

The Agency has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the Client’s personal data against unlawful processing, unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. Among other things, we have taken the following precautions;

• The Agency protect its computer systems with User-ID’s and passwords.
• Online-bookings are made through a secured connection.
• IP-addresses are registered and temporarily saved, but they cannot be traced back to the Client. 
• The Agency makes back-ups of the personal data to restore the files in case of physical or technical problems. 
• Agency’s employees are aware of the importance of privacy protection.

Should there be a potential breach of personal data, the Agency has procedures in place to respond.
